Commissioning Process

Cornerstone’s Commissioning process has been developed and refined through our extensive project experience and history. With each successful project, we further develop our processes to ensure that these projects function as they were intended to. Listed below is a brief listing of the steps we take in our commissioning process.

  • Constructor/Designer Pre-planning and Coordination
  • Review Cost/Benefit of Commissioning processes with In-House Team versus separate consultant with Project Team / Owners and plan accordingly;
  • Follow Owner standards and Best Management Practices;
  • Include Owner’s O&M staff as appropriate;
  • Establish “Red Zone” Meetings to develop and review commissioning and testing activities, set schedules, define responsibilities, etc., to ensure a successful project turnover;
  • Development of key testing procedures and/or inspections;
  • On-site and video documentation/training;
  • O&M Manuals submitted in advance of Commissioning; and
  • Comprehensive and Complete Documentation
