Safety

Cornerstone's award-winning safety program includes safety incentives for accident-free performance, safety training, inspections, a periodic safety newsletter, and extensive safety monitoring and tracking to identify trends and implement new or advanced safety measures. Each new project is carefully assessed and a specific safety-plan is developed based on our perceived risks. As the project progresses the plan is refined to and updated to ensure that it still meets the proiects; needs.

Insurance / Bonding

Insurance and bonding are an important protection for our Clients and for our company. We have extensive experience delivering the type of insurance and/or project bonding required by the client to fit their needs.  Because of our excellent record in completing projects and our ability to work without lost time incidents, we are able to command excellent rates insurance rates and our bonding capacity is among the highest in Alaska-based construction companies. Our lower rates translate into better value for our customers.

Our resources include professionals with extensive experience managing all types of insurance needs from fixed quotes to both Owner Controlled Insurance Programs (OCIPs) and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIPs), as well as Subguard programs.

Environmental Risk Management

Cornerstone has programs in place to control risk associated with environmental factors including storm water programs, mold, dust/debris, asbestos, and other factors affecting Indoor Air Quality, as well as hazardous materials in soil and ground water.
